A: No, these ABS outdoor replacement blades do not come in a smaller size.
A: No, the fan blades are not 52" these replacement blades are for a 52" ceiling fan. The blades are 20.5 inches in height.
A: Yes these blades can be used indoors and outdoors
A: Yes, I used these for my indoor fan and it worked great.
A: It depends on whether the three predrilled holes in the blades match up with the holes in the mounting brackets. Mine did, but you may have to measure and see them in the store or make your best guess.
A: Yes, this can also be used indoors as long as the hole dimensions on these blades (see hole measurement dimensions listed on the website) match the hole dimensions of your fan blades.
A: Yes, I bought these blades as replacements for a Hunter Ceiling fan that is indoors. My home is very tropical and open air and while the fan is indoors the original blades showed exposure to moisture in the atmosphere and looked weathered. These blades work much better because since they are plastic, they can easily be cleaned and don't show wear from the weather.
A: Of course you can as long as you are ok with their look and finish. Since they are made for outdoor they look like a white shiny plastic blade, but have some weight to it, and would be fine with an all white fan.
A: If the mounting holes on the blades lineup with the holes on the fan blade brackets, I don't se why not.
A: If the holes match. Take one of your current blades to the store to check.
A: I had to modify mine a little. I did'nt know the brand of fan. I had to put the screw through the center hole then drill new side holes. They work fine, no vibration problem.
A: You will need to purchase the Westinghouse "universal fan brackets". The hole spacing on the original brackets on the Hunter Fans I have were different offset where they would attach to the blades. The Westinghouse replace bracket attached perfectly to the motor housing and to the plastic blades.
A: You would need to get the Westinghouse replacement bracket. The original bracket might not fit the hole spacing on the plastic blades.
A: You need to check the hole dimensions listed in Product Overview and there is also the image of the hole dimensions for these blades listed with on the website. These need to match the hole dimensions of your fan blades in order to be able to use these on your fan.
A: Not exactly,I made an additional hole with the drill bit.
A: If you are handy and have an electric drill, you can drill holes to make these blades work with most any fan. I have no w ay of knowing if they will fit your Hunter without modification.
A: Yes, These blade are just the thing for out door use. They may require addition drilling. Moisture No drooping. Hope this answers your question.
A: Not effected by moisture
A: Yes, that's what they are made for. I have them on my back porch and they work perfectly, they are a kind of heavy duty plastic. They have been up for over a year and are looking like new still.
A: No sure about wet rating but the blades are made of plastic.
A: Yes they are plastic
A: Yes, they are plastic.
A: These blades are weatherproof replacement fan blades and therefore are rated for outdoor use.
A: Requires drilling
A: They did not fit on my harbor breeze fan. Better to find a blade with no holes, so you could drill your own. Blade had 2 sets of holes, even if one set of 3 worked, there would be 2 spare holes.
A: It should.
A: You need to check the hole measurements on your Harbor Breeze fan blades against the hole measurements listed for these blades to see if our fan blade hole dimensions match your ceiling fan. If they do not match, then these fan blades are not compatible with your ceiling fan.
A: They can be used on an indoor fan if the hole dimensions match the hole dimensions of your ceiling fan. Please see the image on the website for the hole dimensions.
A: Yes my fan is a 38 year old indoor fan. Worked great
A: Yes they should as long as the holes on the end or the same. You can take one of the old blades in to the store sometime and check that out.
A: The question of fit is dependent on hole pattern. The pattern is of the Westinghouse fan. I found it necessary to change the mounting arms as well as I used them on a Hampton Bay fans. For the Hunter fan, I had to order replacement blades from Hunter.
A: Yes, mine is inside in craft room
A: Note there are 5 pre drilled holes...even if 3 matched, there will be 2 left unused...this does not really look good to me. For me, none of the holes lined up except the middle one! so I took them back. The holes were also too small for my blade screws. My house has mostly harbor breeze fans.
A: Hi, If the blades holes match up you would want to go with the blades for the 42 inch fan which is 7740100. You can call into our consumer division and speak with someone live. 888-417-6222
A: probably. I assume that they use the same motor for either. Good luck on the holes matching up. If not, you might consider using one of the old blades as a drill guide.
A: They might, but then it wont be a 42" fan any more it would be a 55"
How can we help?
