A: Thank you for your question. The ground convenience outlet covers this hole and is recommended to be installed. This lantern post gets hard-wired to existing wiring. We do not offer another option to block off this hole.

Q:We purchased this and began securing the post into the ground. As we were we adding quick dry concrete to the hole to hold in place and adjusting the level of the post, one of the polycarbonate rings for the crossbars fell into the post- can we get one?

Q:Any idea how durable this post is, i.e. life expectantcy? I get about 7-8 years out of an aluminum post in Florida and was curious about this steel post before I buy a commercial grade aluminum replacement. How thick is the material and how soon can I expect it to rust. Thanks.

A: This fixture has a 5 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The limited warranty does not cover acts of nature, corrosion (rust) and discoloration of components, nor does it cover damages cause from abuse, improper installation, surges in electric current or acts of third party. There is no way to determine when and where rust may occur.
