A: In order to use a dimming function with this ceiling fan (using the incandescent light bulbs included with this ceiling fan), you would need to use a ceiling fan wall control or remote control to operate dimming of the light kit.

A: A dimmer switch can be used for the light. A fan control switch, which is different from a dimmer switch, can be used for the fan on place of the pull chain. Follow the wiring diagram provided with the product.
