A: When using an external control, the fan speed switch is set to high and the external control then determines how many speeds the fan will operate at. A 4 speed wall control will operate the fan with 4 speeds regardless of the fan’s normal number of speeds.

A: Yes, this fan is wall switch and remote control adaptable so therefore your can install a universal remote or wall control and operate the fan using one of these controllers. We do not recommend completely removing the pull chains after installing a wall control or remote control.

A: 3/4" - I used an extended downrod for my sloped ceiling (24") and worked perfectly. If you are using an extended downrod, note that the ceiling fan has plenty of wiring built in, so no need for a wire extension kit.

A: When this is fan flush mounted, it measures 8.88 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the fan blades. If you include the light kit, it measures 11.25 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of glass.
