Questions and Answers for Westinghouse 2-Light Sienna Flush Mount

A:  The glass bowl is called a "mushroom shade". Measure the inside diameter and you should be able to find a replacement on the internet, although it may not be the exact same design.

A:  Yes just make sure you measure I think it was 8" and they had two different brands of replacement glass shades at the store but My Home Depot only had 1 for this light in stock.

A:  We do not carry this exact replacement glass but our smooth mushroom shade, Westinghouse 8375700 item will fit this light fixture (this is an 8 inch fitter glass).

A:  There are replacements, although, may not be the same style. You can also check with the manufacturer..

A:  We do not carry a coordinating fixture like this without the pull chain.

A:  I looked online and couldn’t find one, but I think that the pull chain version would work fine for the light you want to control from a wall switch. Just leave the pull chain switch in the “on” position and don’t attach the extension to the pull chain.

A:  You can use either incandescent, LED or CFL light bulbs in this fixture, up to a 60 watt maximum.

A:  incandescent or CFL.

A:  This fixture uses medium base 60 watt bulbs.

A:  Any regular base light bulb (A15). I only buy LED now.

A:  Standard base bulb. Does not take candelabra bulbs. This is a good-looking, modern light. It was difficult to find a flush mount light for the one pull chain fixture we have on our home. I did not like the majority of pull chain lights where you can see a gap between the ceiling and light itself. We are very satisfied with this light.

A:  I used 75 watt equivalent compact fluorescent bulbs in mine.

A:  I am not an electrician, but as long as it is an enclosed porch and dry,I would think it would be okay. I would not use them where rain would blow in and get th fixture wet.

A:  Yes. Just install the fixture per the instructions, leave the pull chain switch in the “on” position and don’t attach the chain extension.

A:  This fixture gets hard wired to a junction box. If the junction box operates by the light switch and the pull chain was pulled down in the on position, then it could be operated by the light switch. If not certain, please contact a qualified electrician.

A:  Yes, I have mine connected to a light switch and the pull chain is just another optional use.

A:  I believe the one it comes with is 12 inches. You can buy chain extensions to add to the existing one. Worked great for me.

A:  We do not have the lip measurement but this fixture takes 8 inch fitter glass. There is a smooth glass globe, item 8375700 which will fit this fixture.
