Answer This Question
A: Sure, but you an also get a similar light without the chain pull.

A: Thank you for your question. This is a ceiling light fixture and turns on/off by the included pull chain and associated light switch. You could leave the pull chain in the on position and use the associated light switch to turn it on/off.

Answer This Question
A: The glass shade on our 2 light Sienna flush mount fixture is frosted fluted glass. It is not opaque glass.
by|Mar 22, 2021
A: The shade is glass and gives plenty of light. I'd say it's on the slightly opaque side, light does shine through though.

Q:Can I install this to cover an existing approximate 6" X 6" square ceiling opening? To replace the fixture that I attached a picture of? Is there mounting hardware that would accommodate this fixture? Thank you!

Answer This Question
A: The included mounting hardware for this light fixture attaches to a standard junction/outlet box. This fixture does not have offer any other larger mounting hardware.
by|Oct 26, 2020
A: Yes. Diameter is 8-8.5", so it should work. I think there is mounting hardware. I bought mine 2 or 3 years ago, so I don't remember.

Q:When hanging the fixture, can you turn and adjust the canopy without regard to the electrical box or wiring so as to change where the pull chain rests hanging? I’m seeing product pics with the the chain in the back and with it on the side. In my case I’d want it in the front so it’s within reach and nearest the closet doors with French style opening.

A: It mounts with 2 screws so you can turn it one way or another. You may need longer screws but the install is pretty easy.
by|Feb 18, 2021
A: This can be done but you would need to separately purchase an offset cross bar such as item 7011400 or an adjustable all purpose cross bar such as 7011100 in order for the mounting bracket be rotated to line up in that type of application. If you are not certain on how to install, we recommend contacting a qualified electrician in your area for assistance.

Q:Can this fixture be put on a wall?

Answer This Question
A: We do not recommend using this on a wall as this is a ceiling flush mount fixture.
by|Jan 11, 2019
A: Yes, if you have a junction box in the wall.
by|Jan 14, 2019
A: No. I don't think that would be a good thing to do.
by|Jan 14, 2019
A: I suppose it could. You would just have to make sure you had the proper mounting box. It is designed to mount to a ceiling box; I don’t know if a wall box has the same distance between mounting screws.

Q:Hi,
Is this fixture wired to the house or does it screw into a previous light bulb socket?
by|Jan 4, 2019

Answer This Question
A: I actually replaced a bare bulb socket with this fixture and aside from looking better, it puts out way more light. It mounts to the electrical box in the ceiling just like the bare bulb socket. You have to attach the wires in the fixture to the wires in the ceiling box with the eire nuts that come with the fixture.
by|Jan 5, 2019
A: The fixture requires a hardwired installation.
by|Jan 5, 2019
A: It’s hardwired.
