Answer This Question
A: With the plank Model # PA208 and ladder jacks, you cannot put the plank any higher than the 4th rung down from the top of the extension ladder. Please refer to your labels on your extension ladder and plank, for setup and use. Remember the duty rating is the lowest rated piece of equipment of your setup. Look at the extension ladder duty rating and plank duty rating of 250 lbs., to determine the load capacity for your system.

Q:Can this extension plank be used as a ramp for running a wheelbarrow into the bed of a low trailer? I need something that can extend long enough to make a low angle for managing a heavy load. I'm only 115 pounds, so I will not be over the weight range.

A: Model #PA208 is not to be used as a ramp.

A: I wouldn't recommend it. You plus your wheelbarrow and your load could be over the load limit. The thickness of the plank would also be a problem. Good luck and be careful. Ed

A: I’m pretty sure it will handle the weight. I’ve never used mine as a ramp, but we have overloaded it on multiple occasions having 3 men standing on it.

A: Would not recommend. The plank is not continuous, but slotted. The wheels will get stuck in the slots.
