Q:Base spread is only 35 inches ? Is that correct? The other model Im looking at has a base spread of 79" something seems off with that.

are standing in front of the ladder. The spread is the side measurement of the ladder.

A: The 7310S has a factory installed pail shelf on it. The 7310 does not come with a pail shelf but can be purchased separately.
