A: Hi,
Thank you for submitting your question.
For cold weather cords, look for cords with blue or dark blue jacket. On the package, you'll find 'cold weather' in the item description.

A: Yes you will have sufficient power. I personally use 3, 10/3 ga. in sequence on job-sites with heavy duty equipment in remote locations and I have no power loss or experience any heat or overdraws on the lines. I have no complaints, I believe the 10/3 size makes the difference, no one really thinks about the right size cord for each application.

A: That depends on what you consider "sufficient". Longer wire & more connections mean more resistance. As the current (Amps) increases, resistance has a greater impact on voltage. So if you're powering LED Xmas lights (very low current), the voltage drop won't be noticeable. And if you're powering a space-heater, it will still make heat - a heating element is very tolerant of voltage fluctuations. But if you're trying to DJ a party in the woods, your lights will be dim and your electronics will freak out because they DON'T tolerate low voltage well.
