A:  Hi, The weight limit for our 9 ft. Hammock with Stand is 450 lbs. Thank you, Customer service.

A:  The stand is waterproof but not the hammock. I made the mistake of leaving the hammock outside and now it’s petrified.

A:  The hammock itself we bring in nightly because of dampness. The frame we leave out for about 8 months a year before winter hits and we collapse it and put back in the supplied bag. We have zero rust in the past two years of use.

A:  The hammock and stand are waterproof; however, the hammock fabric does get wet but dries fairly quickly in the sun. (I also have a different hammock with fabric that the water basically rolls right off of, but I generally prefer this one.) I bought the hammock at the beginning of last summer and left the stand outdoors all last summer and since this beginning of this summer. I have seen no rusting. My family and I love this hammock.

A:  I left the stand out throughout a winter and summer and no issues. I left the hammock out in a couple of rains and it molded.

A:  I’ve had mine outside for a couple of years and it’s holding up perfectly!

A:  Hello Karrlitia, The hammock is manufactured from cotton and just like a cotton T-shirt if left outside in inclement weather it will mold and mildew. The fabric should be brought inside when not in use. The stand is manufactured from steel and is power coated to protect it from rusting but again if left outside it will rust over time. A:  Yes easily to uninstall and put back together. Left out in rain for several days till in peak condition.

A:  Yes but you would have to supply the mounting hooks for the trees. It does come with a met protective part for the rope to prevent it from fraying.

A:  The question doesn't really make sense as written, but if it's asking if the hammock can hold someone who weighs 180 lbs, the answer is yes. My husband fits it fine, and he weighs 200.

A:  Yes, this is a great hammock fits my 6' tall and weighs 270 lbs. fits in it perfectly. My two grandchildren love getting into it and letting me rock them. It is very sturdy. I would buy it again.

A:  I don't know the exact measurements. I am 6'2... my wingspan is about that... I would say the width is also around 6 to 7ft. I fit perfectly in it. As far as the length, the 9ft length is great as well.

A:  Hello Tidbit, Thank you for your question. A hammock is designed for comfort and relaxing although people like to swing in it, we do not recommend it to be used as a swing. The constant swaying back and forth would cause the ropes to fray from rubbing off the J Hooks on the stand and eventually break and in turn would make the hammock unsafe.
