A:  Vigoro Weed & Feed can be applied to the following grass types: Kentucky bluegrass, Fescues, perennial ryegrass, common bermudagrass, hybrid bermudagrass, bahiagrass, zoysiagrass, centipedegrass.

A:  DO NOT apply Vigoro Weed & Feed to the following grass types: St. Augustine, Floratam (St. Augustine), dichondra, lippia, carpetgrass, and bentgrass.

A:  Vigoro Weed & Feed Weed Killer Plus Lawn does control purslane and spurweed.

A:  We would recommend using Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & Feed2 for your St. Augustine lawn. This product is safe for southern lawns such as St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only.

A:  Since you have applied Vigoro Weed & Feed, you will need to wait 6-8 weeks before applying another product to your lawn, that contains a weed control or fertilizer.

A:  Area can be re-entered immediately after allowing any dust to settle. However, for best results it is recommended to not re-enter lawn for at least 24 hours after the application. Waiting allows the herbicide to be absorbed through the weed leaves. Activity on the lawn before this may brush off the weed control before it can be absorbed into the plant. It is recommended to but not necessary to water the product into the lawn and allow it to dry before re-entering. Some animals may chew on treated grass blades When following re-entry instructions, this will not pose a risk.The animal will not consume enough of the treated grass to pose a risk. This product is not registered for areas where grazing animals feed. Animals should not graze for 1 year after the application. We do not have specific information as to when it would be safe.

A:  Vigoro Weed & Feed(I) is intended for application a maximum of 2 times per year. The residual period for the fertilizer is 6-8 weeks, so we recommend waiting at least that long before reapplying it or before applying another product containing fertilizer.
