Q:Does the spout screw off to replace/clean screen and if so are the threads exposed to attach a hose? I have a portable washing machine and am wondering if I can attach it.

A:  The spout screws off for cleaning… the threads are inset. You could probably use a threaded nipple to make it work for your needs. It’s a very nice faucet.

    A:  Hi JennX, The aerator cover can be unscrewed from the spout of the faucet and the threads are inset. However, we advise not to connect a portable washing machine to the faucet because the process of screwing and unscrewing the aerator cover and washing machine hose many times for a long period will damage the threads of the faucet and aerator cover. We recommend installing Y split water valves to the hot and cold water lines instead. This will also allow you to use the faucet and washing machine at the same time.       Q:What is the model # of the pop-up drain assembly in matte gold to match this faucet and is it necessary to have in order to install faucet to have it fully functional?

      A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The model number of the matching pop-up drain is VG07000MG. Though the drain assembly is not needed to install the faucet, nor does this affect the faucets functionality. The pop-up drain is only used to drain the sink.

        A:  No. This is a single hole faucet. Didn't see a plate in the box to cover a 3 hole sink.

          A:  It did not. Have to purchase that separately.

            A:  It would not come with it, however, they are available for purchase. Without overflow VG07000(finish) and with overflow VG160002(finish)

              Q:We need to replace our current VIGO faucet (which i am 90% sure is this one based on all the others ive been looking at this looks to be the closest/same) Ours is only a few years old but has completely lost its bronze color (within the first year but i let slide thinking it would go away) and is turning different colors and has caked on green chalky stuff on some parts that i cant seem to get off with any type of cleaner- pretty disappointed with the faucet but i love our glass brown/amber multicolored sink. Is this all i need to buy? And is the faucet swap easy to do if thats all that needs to be done?

              A:  Everything needed was in the box for the faucet, the stopper for the sink was sold separately. I usually wipe mine clean very easily. I’ve had it installed for about 3 months now without any problems.

                  A:  The faucet comes with all required mounting hardware. It is very easy and straightforward to remove and replace. Turn off water supply. Note hot and cold supply lines so you can connect them correctly to the new faucet which is marked for hot (red) and cold (blue). Loosen mounting bracket on the top inside of the cabinet and remove the old faucet. Reverse the above instructions to install the new faucet.

                    A:  It is easy to swap but don't blame the faucet. Have your water tested. It sounds like you may need a filtration system. Vigo is a good brand.

                      Q:What is the maximum counter top thickness this faucet can be installed on? On the Home Depot website, it says the maximum deck thickness is 0.375 inches... so a less than a half inch. Isn't "deck" the counter top?
