      Q:I'm looking for blinds to fit Velux FS 304 0075 20 AN03A, and size 304 is not listed as an option perhaps because it's an older skylight. Is there an equivalent size code available?

      A:  VELUX does not currently have a shade solution for skylights manufactured prior to 2010. We hope to have options available in the coming year.

        A:  Manually operable, light filtering shades would be part number: FHLD M06 1016SWL which are white in color. The control rod needed to operate these shades is part number: ZXT 200 and it is adjustable to 6 feet. if you need additional length, the ZCT 100 will add 3 more feet.

          A:  Currently, we only have white blinds available through HomeDepot.com, but we will be adding more colors in 2022. You can have your local Home Depot store call us for pricing and availability of special order blind options.

            Q:looking at the VCM/VCE 4646. Will this fit a Velux fixed skylight manufactured in about year 2000? The cost appears to be $200. Is that everything i need to have a remote-activated blind, or are there more parts or pieces I need to buy?

            A:  Hi Joe. Current model blinds will not fit older model skylights. Each blind is model, size, and age specific. To determine if blinds are available for your older model skylight, please contact VELUX directly at 1-800-888-3589.

                A:  VELUX still carries flashing kits for these older skylights. If you have a shingle roof, the kit needed is: EDL 308 0000A. We also have kits available for tile or thick shake roofs or even standing seam metal roofs. You can order these kits from your local Home Depot store or call VELUX directly @ 1-800-888-3589.
