A:  Hello Vickie, The Trex Monterey Bay Bar Side Chair and the POLYWOOD La Casa Cafe Bar Side Chair are similar in style. They both have the contoured seat and three slats in the back assembly. The difference between the two is that the Monterey Bay chair has 3 straight slats in the back where as the top slat on the La Casa Cafe chair is curved. Thank you for the great question! Ashley
