A: Don't order it, you won't be satisfied with the product. We've had it installed for about 7 months and the edges are starting to pop up in areas. Plus it doesn't look as good as hoped it would.
A: Pretty sure this color was discontinued. Put this in a bathroom renovation and it looks great! I went back to my local store to buy 1 more box to keep as a spare and couldn't find it. Finally asked HD salesperson in that department and was told it was discontinued.
A: The stores have small samples of the flooring.
A: Hi! Thank you for your question. You can order 4x4 samples of the colors mentioned on homedepot.com by entering the color name in the search bar.
A: Samples of some of the styles are available in store. If the sample you want is online, you can order the sample online, usually free of charge. Just so you know, I used the 'bamboo' Allure in my dining room and kitchen a few years ago. I installed it by myself while I had a cast on my leg! The floor is softer to walk on barefooted than regular flooring and my 5 schnauzers have not destroyed it despite their best efforts to do so. When it was time to renovate my bathrooms, I used Allure Vintage Oak and they look amazing!!!
A: Thank you for your question. No, the simplefit products have been discontinued. We now have the Droplock 100.
A: Joe User: Not certain why I'm being asked by HD to answer this question, other than I've purchased the product many times in the past. I have no knowledge of availability on the simple fit product, since I am not a Home Depot employee. I usually remove existing shoe molding and re-install to give me additional space to work. Shoe mold work is an extra charge or separate scope of the project.
A: I would say yes unless you have rolled seams. You will end up fighting it to lock into place and lay flat if so. Maybe just cut rolled edges back if you have any. I love this flooring.
A: Thank you for your question. Please see the note from page 6 of the manual "Vinyl Yes, install over 1 layer of vinyl only Linoleum, VCT, LVT, peel & stick" As long as it is not cushion backed or more than 1 layer you can install over vinyl.
A: Yes as long as the floor is flat and not curled up This flooring will go right over it
A: not a good idea .needs to be a subfloor thats solid .
A: Yes, I had it installed over fifty-year-old linoleum that was in good shape. I love the look and feel of this flooring. It is not cold on bare feet in the morning.
A: Only if it is on the "last edge" as they can be disassembled. Unlike roof shingles that can be removed from the center by prying 3 rows above, these cannot: once the tongue and groove are set, they only come apart if you start from the end where you finished. I suppose on a very big floor, one could cut one tile on each side and replace a whole section but on a small room, definitely, no !
A: Thank you for your question. Yes, you can do a single plank replacement. Please see the link to our youtube replacement video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhNqgHCJFOs&feature=youtu.be
A: Thank you for your question. The product has a handscraped finish, the samples are accurate.
A: I installed this flooring throughout my whole house. I have dogs and foster dogs which is why I chose this flooring. It has rippling to make it look like real wood but no pitting or gouging. It has held up amazingly to what my household has puts it through.
A: There is a sort of indentation throughout and it even looks wet in areas, I think it gives it an unique look and love the way the floor turned out.
A: Thats the way the surface looks, looks like pitting on wood, looks great when installed.
A: Yes, it has the appearance of being hand hewn. That is why I ordered this floor, I've had so many compliments and a couple friends who ordered it in the Gray or the Cinnamon Oak. If you are looking for smooth this is not the floor for you. I went from formica to this and can't say enough how much better this is. It is really easy to clean too.
A: This product is formaldehyde-free.
A: Thank you for your question. Our product does not contain any formaldehyde.
A: I use water and a swiffer pad. When I need to sanitize, I just use my steamer mop.
A: Thanks for your question. There are several products we recommend. Zep Neutral Floor Cleaner, OdoBan No-Rinse Neutral Floor Cleaner, and Simple Green Ready to Use Floor Cleaner (the only Simple Green that's approved). A: We did, probably your preference for under the stove & dishwasher, but if you see any flooring around your appliances you should definitely install under. The concern under the fridge that if you don't you'd be rolling the fridge over an open end which could become unattached or chipped up. We are happy we installed under all the appliances.
A: Thank you for your question- You can put appliances on top of the flooring. They have legs that roll out which evenly distributes the weight
A: Yes, I did and so far working great.
A: The sample square photo and the long plank seem to not be the Aspen White Oak. The office photo is better tho mine seems more pinky vibe than brown. The intense swirls/grain is likely going to make me not run with it. Flooring manufacturers like swirls and intense grain and seem to have an issue with coming up with something 'pretty/elegant/soft/gentle' and 'light'. Sorry for the rant.
A: Thank you for your question. The Aspen Oak White is an individual color and it is shown in the photo under the product. In the same line it does show many different colors in the same make up of the Aspen Oak White and they are listed by photo under the product price.
A: It's the color you see on the picture. Check the also the picture of the office: it's the color I ordered and it matches pretty good.
A: I have had ours for about 2 years . We have cats and alot of foot traffic, it's held up great. It's truly water proof also. Great product for any application.
A: Thank you for your question. Any pet mess will need to be cleaned up promptly. Urine is acidic and can damage the flooring if it sits for prolonged periods of time.
A: It is great! We got it specifically because of our elderly Pekingese's accidents and have had it for over a year. There has been no damage, even when we have not caught the accident right away.
