A: Closed cel......not quite 15 board ft.....
A: Closed cell
A: The nozzles are cone shaped, not flared.
A: Conical, not a fan. Stream also expands a bit after leaving the nozzle, so aiming is easy.
A: This kit comes with two nozzles: − YELLOW FAN NOZZLE for a wide spray pattern. − CLEAR CONICAL NOZZLE for a narrow spray pattern.
A: Thank you for posting your product inquiry. The DAP Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 15 Kit comes with two "conical" style applicator nozzles.
A: This product has 94% closed cell content.

A: Once fully cured, the Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 15 foam will be waterproof, however, both one and two component spray polyurethane foams do not have good UV resistance and would need to be protected from sunlight exposure.
A: Yes, it's a closed cell foam so is waterproof.
A: The Touch ‘n Foam Pro System15 foam (and similar foam kits) are not intended for use as a basement waterproofing solution.
A: No
A: We do not recommend the use of single component foam products in closed cavity or large void filling applications. For these type of fills, the two component products, such as the Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 15 Kit would be recommended.
A: yes you can use it for insulate, don't know of any cons . now this will be used where? in the walls yes in the basement between the floor joist on the out side walls. in the attic on the rafters yes.
A: You would do better using the single cans. Would cost less and easier to apply.
A: Yes, but it covers a very small area
A: According to the International Residential Code (IRC – 2006, 2009, 2012) and the International Building Code (IBC – 2006, 2009, and 2012) model building codes, foam insulation must be separated from occupied space by an approved thermal barrier or approved equivalent. Special considerations are made for attics and crawlspaces accessed only for service, where an ignition barrier or approved equivalent may be required o cover the foam. Exposed foam up to 3 inches thick is allowed on sill plates and headers. Please consult your local code jurisdiction for further information and guidance.
A: I assume you mean ignition barrier but the answer is most building codes require a thermal barrier or ignition barrier because spray foam can burn readily if exposed to most any ignition source. Read up on the difference between thermal and ignition barriers and apply one of them to your work. I used mine on an outdoor metal building to seal some roof leaks so I don't worry about it catching fire.
A: Yes, must have proper ventilation for 24 hours during and after applying
A: Yes it can. I was disappointed with the lack of coverage.
A: yes you can
A: Yes, you can use to insulate a hot tub
A: Insulating a hot tub with spray polyurethane foam is a common practice. Most hot tubs come from the factory with some spray foam already applied. Ensure the area you are planning to apply spray foam to has enough room to allow for expansion. Apply no more than 1 inch at a time and allow to cool between layers.
A: For insulation, yes it great give it some time to cure.
A: Depending on the surface you are trying to insulate, yes. This project with adhere to most surface and gradually expand. I would recommend testing a small area and time the rate of expansion to have a better idea of how much of the product you will need. I prefer this product and method over the can products, have have more control,
A: Yes it should work fine inside a trailer. Just make sure the surface is clean and easily accessible, once you pull the tab to mix the components keep moving so the tip doesn't clog. Also 15 board is all you'll be able to cover make sure that 15 square feet will be enough for your job. Good Luck
A: Can you be more specific as to how you want to use the product? If you are asking whether or not the System 15 kit can be used to air seal and insulate an area, yes it will do so, for up to 15 board feet. If this is not your question, please call our Technical Service at 800-325-6180 for further assistance.
A: I can't see why it won't...depends on what you are using it for. I used it to air seal and insulate some band board. I would check with the MFR for specifics to your project before proceeding.
A: I think it is because people like me buy this product thinking it is going to go a lot farther than it does. The newbies buy this and not the more expensive one. I would guess anyone that buys the 200B knows what to expect with it.
A: 15 board feet is not enough for most projects. The user is surprised when it runs out
A: Becaus 99%of the customers who purchase 15 touch 'n foam are homeowners who only want a small quantity of the mixture whereas the other 1 % are professionals who have no questions abt their products.
A: To be honest with you I did not like this product, and wished that I would have tried a different manufacturer. It was hard to apply, and inconsistent. The tip clog midway through the application.
A: Yes.. I bought both.. Did an entire large room with the 200b kit, and wanted the 15b kit for touch up.. the applicator was worthless with the 15d.. better off using the gun and pro canisters for touch up... goes a lot further for the money
A: Coverage expectations Not fully understanding/reading instructions First time usrs
A: Not sure, 15 ft kit works ok if temperatures at upper end of allowable range, but yield substantially reduced at temps at lower end of recommended range. Kit only has one spare nozzle, so if you are starting and stopping application (only takes 20-30 seconds for nozzle to harden and clog) you will run out of spare nozzles with lots of foam still left in can. If temps are high and you are ready for one continuous application the 15ft works ok. Smaller kit is more expensive per board foot than 200 or 600 kit, but if you don't need a big kit, that's not really an issue.
A: here's the reason in a nutshell. it's apparent to me that the operation of the product is not as simple as the manufacturer would have you believe, here's an example of what happened to me. followed the instructions for setting the item up. instructions says to engage the spay action pull down on the black plastic handle an the material will start to flow. I pulled the handle and the darn thing came off and the material ended up all over my darn kitchen. I ended up having to throw the crajunk away. hat's why there are so many negative reviews. fortysome dollars wasted.
How can we help?
