Answer This Question
A: UltraMix Paver Joint Sand isn't commonly used for a stand-alone sand area. However in this scenario, considering 144 square feet at 4" depth, it would require approximately 95 50-pound bags of UltraMix Sand.

Answer This Question
A: The coverage for UltraMix Paver Joint Sand is dependent upon the average width and depth of the hardscape joint. The depth of a traditional paver is commonly 2-3/8". But there are other grades of pavers available like light traffic pavers (1-5/8") for residential use and heavy traffic pavers (3-1/8") that are used for driveways. 1" is not a common paver depth, which means a specialty or irregular stone is likely being used. At 1" average depth and an average joint width of 1/4", a single 50 pound bag of UltraMix Sand would cover approximately 80 - 120 ft2 of surface area.

A: The color is a very light, almost white with a mix of some pinkish coloring. I'm looking for an actual "brick red" paver sweep myself to no avail.

A: The color is inspired by more of a traditional red brick color, especially for use in brick paver applications.

Answer This Question
A: I've had this put in for about a month now and it's looking great, doesn't feel as if the color is going to fade anytime soon. The bag is very small only 2' on the long side for a 50 pounder so the sand is very dense, plus I used the sealer after brushing the sand into the gaps so it formed like cement afterwards.

A: UltraMix Paver Joint Sand is manufactured using a proprietary color infusion process for permanent adhesion and long lasting color. In hardscape joint material applications, it is recommended for use in conjunction with NanoPave 2-in-1 Joint Stabilizer & Sealer (JSS).
