A:  hello I have both styles of impact and a few cordless that are hog ring style these seem to work fine on both and for the price they are better than craftsman in my opinion

A:  cant say for sure but in my experience all impact sets work on both detent and ring, i purchased that set for someone when i took mine back 30 years as industrial maintenance mechanic and several sets of impact sockets over the years

A:  Yes sir, they sure do. In fact, the metric set is a few dollars cheaper, plus you get 15 sockets instead of 14 standard sizes. There is a couple of more options with the metric set where you can choose sizes 10-24mm or 11-32mm based on your needs.
