A: the light is longer than a halogen MR16 bulb. If you have a completely enclosed fixture - you should check - it will probably not fit. I am having a hard time finding an MR16 to fit. Now I am going to put an MR11 bulb - it should fit in the socket.

A: If those are the two choices, I would guess closer to 20.

A: I called TCP's customer service line from their website and they could not confirm for absolute certain, but were quite confident that the beam spread is 40 deg. This model number is not listed on their website since these bulbs are "retail" packaged (that's the "R" in the model number) and so the company doesn't publish a spec sheet as they do for the commercial bulbs. Pretty impressive website and customer service operation - these guys are a real company, unlike most of the discount bulb sellers you see out there that sell no-name bulbs. By the way, these bulbs are discontinued by TCI but she said they still had 6000 in inventory as of today, so hopefully, HD should be able to get more of these if they reorder them.

A: Don't know, because Home Depot only described them as Spot Light
Bulbs when I purchased them. I'm guessing more towards 20 degrees than 40 degrees, but I see that Amazon describes them as 40 degrees for the same model number. They shine really high and bright under our palm trees.
