A:  We do not recommend making changes to the storage cabinet. We carefully test our products to ensure that they are both safe and functional. If it includes casters legs, we test with them, and if it does not, we test without them. We can’t actually verify the structural integrity of a unit if changes are made and therefore, we do not recommend doing so. Additionally, any changes made to the item would void the warranty.

A:  Hi Gene, We manufacture this item in our Ohio manufacturing plant.

A:  Hi Aimee, Yes, the cabinet does require assembly. It comes with detailed instructions and we have a Consumer Relations Team and a robust Help Desk on the manufacturer's website that can assist if you run into any questions on your assembly journey. The cabinet is laminated in a white finish and we do not recommend painting. Because of the size and nature of the cabinet we provide instructions and hardware to mount it to the wall to prevent any issues of tip-over. While the cabinet can stand and be used independently of this, it is standard practice (and mandated based on government safety standards) on cabinets and clothing storage units to mount them to the walls.

A:  Hi Carlos, This cabinet also comes in gray. You can find it by searching the Home Depot website for sku# HD67232.

A:  There should be an instruction manual within the box for each unit. If they are missing, they are also available on the Ameriwood Home website by clicking on the Help Desk in the upper right corner and selecting the Assembly Manual Search. We can also email them to you if you contact our friendly customer service team via the chat feature on the website, my email at customer.service@dorel.com, or by calling 1-800-489-3351. But they should just be in the box! :)

A:  While it is important to mount units whenever they include a wall anchor kit, products are tested for stability without being mounted. The feet are adjustable, so if you wish you can dial these taller in the front than in the back, which may also help with stability. Thank you for your question and enjoy your day!
