Q:The packs of 8 are only .25 inch thick. Is this still of good quality for gym equipment over a concrete floor. I'm looking for durability as the top priority, but cushioning is a bonus.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot.
The flooring will give you the cushion you need to protect floors and equipment alike , however, for doing floor excercise you would want to add a yoga mat.
As always, we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

Q:Is this waterproof? Will my floor underneath become wet?

Answer This Question
A: I have these rubber tiles over a concrete floor. The room is weather tight. I can imagine you might get some leakage if a large amount of liquid spilled on the edge of the tile where it is fitted with the next tile. I know when installing the tiles, I had to pound the tiles together.
I also think , if you did spill a large amount of liquid, the tiles can be pried out and the spill manually dried. These tiles are of great quality and fit together on your floor quite well. Good luck!

Answer This Question
A: Both are correct. The product is available in different thickness choices, .25 and .30. Fewer pieces of the thicker product fit in a box so that is why .3 has 6 pieces and not 8.

A: This really needs to be laid down on a flat surface such as concrete, wood floor, etc otherwise the interlocking teeth on the edges of the till will make an uneven connection, come apart and be a tripping hazard.
