A:  Sanding is not required before painting this door.

A:  Unfortunately we can not special order door sizes, please visit your local Home Depot and they can help you find a door that will work for you.

A:  This is a barn door, which does not have pre bored holes for hardware.

A:  Since this is a barn door, it will not be prepped for hardware or bore. We unfortunately can't make door without notch at this time. Please visit or call your local Home Depot and they can find the doors you are wanting. Thank you for questions.

A:  It is not solid wood, it is engineered solid core. This allows you to have the real look of wood and less maintenance of a solid wood door. Multiple layers of timber are pressed and glued together in different directions to form the core material, with a veneer applied to the surface and lipping fixed to the edges. This makes an engineered door far more stable than its solid counterpart. This modern construction technique also provides better thermal insulation than that offered by more traditional methods.

A:  You can check back in late October. If your local Home Depot has us in there special order system, they should be able to order door that way.

A:  Hello, Yes, this product is still being made. Item is estimated to be available mid to late September.

A:  Interior Doors only: Trimming allowance is as follows: height - 1/2-in max (1/4-in top and 1/4-in bottom). We do not allow for trimming for width. Trimming beyond allowance voids warranty. Please visit your local Home Depot and they can special order door for you.
