        A:  Yes they are tamper-resistant hinges.

          A:  I wish id known id there was a tamper resistent hinge cause the pin is on the outside. You most certainly would do better if that option is available. I did skip messing with the pins and removed the door with the screws to lay the doir flat for painting

                A:  When I purchased this item it did not have any trim, brick mold or otherwise. And if by chance you got one with brick mold it is easily removable.
