A:  These are identical to sweetheart chisels of the past.

A:  I have no idea what a Ridgewood handle is referring to. Each chisel comes with a hornbeam wood handle. The chisel has a tapered socket that wood handle fits in. This is a friction fit and the handles can be replaced.

A:  These chisels come with Hornbeam , a type of birch, handles . I am not sure what "ridgewood" is but, they are socket chisels so you can make new handles out of whatever wood you like.

A:  This set is made in Great Britain.
