A: I oz for 5 gal. of gasoline.
A: 1-oz. (30-milliliter) treats up to 2-1/2 Gal. (9.5-liters) of fuel. Simple math states that you should use .53 oz. of Stabil; or basically a little over a 1/2 oz.
A: since 5 liters is just over a gallon,i would use an ounce and a half.
A: You would need 1/2 oz. for 1.25 gallons of gas.
A: i would just fill it to the last line in the small tube on the side.
A: We would recommend .5oz (half ounce) or a tablespoon for 1.25 gallons of fuel. Hope that helps!
A: My bottle says 1 oz. treats up to 2 1/2 gallons. :-)
A: 1/2 ounce (~15ml). 1 ounce treats 2.5 gallons.
A: Yes. No problem.
A: yes!
A: Hi MattA. Thank you for your question. Yes, it is a very good idea to use StaBil with your two-cycle gas mix. It will help to keep your gas fresh for two years. It is also a good idea to use the higher 92 octane fuel with your 2 cycle blower. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC
A: I use this with all my tools. I add this to empty gas can before filling it. This way I know all gas tools have the STA-BIL. When I mix my 2-cycle fuel the STA-BIL is already in the gas. I have been using this product for years. Since I have been using I no longer have issues or concerns about fuel being left in tanks at end of year - they all start and run fine in the spring. Fixed my hard starting problems with chainsaw that gets used once in a blue moon.
A: Yes. I usually buy gas in my larger can and treat it. Then I mix that with oil in a smaller can.
A: Most folks use Sta-bil which has been the "tried and true weapon of choice" for off season storage. The main thing on using this stuff is when and how. Some folks dump this stuff in the tank every week and that's a waste of money. For off season storage, one proper method is to add this to a tank that is almost empty (with some gas left) where you can see a quarter inch left at the bottom. Run the engine a good 5 minutes to ensure a complete circulation happens because you want this stuff saturated through the carb jets and sitting in the float bowl. Use fresh gas in the spring and add about an ounce to a full tank and run it for 5 minutes before cutting. Keep in mind this stuff is excellent for moisture displacement. Many folks buy and store 5 gallons of gas for 2 to three machines which can allow moisture to develop in the gas container in humid weather over a 2 week period. To prevent this, consider using a 2 ½ gallon container with 2 ounces of Sta-bil. If a 5 gallon container is a must, put 4 ounces in before fill up. This stuff will do the job on both 2 and 4 cycle engines.
A: Yes,it won't hurt a thing.
A: I would put that old gas in a car with about a half tank and use fresh gas and Stabil. Been doing that for years with all gas from my snowblower, tiller etc.
A: What I do is just put the old gas in an almost full tank of gas in my truck and put fresh gas in the gas can.
A: put new gas in it and some stab.
A: You would be better off using that remaining has now ,top off any equipment you may have. Then start with fresh gas when lawn mower season rolls around. It's much better for your equipment.
A: use new gas,and add stab.
A: Stabil is used to prevent deterioration not an additive once it has happened. Treat the gasoline as soon as you get it. Three months should be ok in moderate temperatures. High temperatures speed up most chemical reactions speeding up deterioration.. When in doubt don't use it.
A: Yes. While STA-BIL Brand will not revitalize this fuel, it will keep it from going stale any further. Also, it is better to start with a fresh batch of fuel. However, you may still use this fuel if it is still "usable" and topping it off with some fresher fuel. I would recommend adding STA-BIL after putting it in your mower. Hope that helps!
A: I am not sure on that one, I usually treat when I buy it. But I do use treated gas the next season after sitting over the winter.
A: just measure the portion to the gallons of gas and use the adoptor to pour it in.
A: Hi. If you bought the 8oz or 32oz bottle, it is recommended that an automotive gas tank funnel be used. We also suggest taking a look at the 10oz STA-BIL 360 Protection which comes with an easy-pour neck especially made for vehicles, include ones that have the "capless" system. This formula will also keep the fuel fresh. Hope that helps! If there are any questions, please feel free to contact us at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com. Thanks for the question!
A: use the adaptor,if u dont have one,u can buy one at a parts store or order on line.
A: Use any small cheap funnel to pour it in. The funnel will hold the "lid" open while you pour the Sta-bil down the funnel.
A: I have used it small gas engine with good luck. As for your car I don't believe it would hurt any thing but I would ask you car manufacture or manufacture just to make sure. Hank Henry
A: no,it dosent change the color.
A: No, it doesn't change the color of gasoline. Not sure why your gas looks darker but it has nothing to do with the Sta-Bil.
A: If you follow the instructions, the color change would be slight. If your gas looks yellow or really dark you have bad gas.
A: Dont see any change in color, use it for 2 generators that just used for hurricane season. Good and nice product. Recomended as very good product
A: If it is red as pictured it will make redder in color than it was.
A: What in the world is "rec gas"??
A: Hi. Yes, you can certainly use it on rec or non-ethanol fuel to keep it fresh up to 24 months. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact us at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com. Thanks for the question!
A: It is made to be used with any gasoline you use in your automobile
A: America’s #1 Fuel Stabilizer Treatment Keeps fuel fresh for long term storage – up to 24 months Eliminates the need to drain fuel prior to storage Ensures quick easy starts after storage by preventing gum and varnish build up* Effective in all gasoline, including Ethanol and Non-Ethanol For all gasoline engines, including 2-Cycle. Use in your vehicles, motorcycles, small engines, generators, boats
A: YES, you can mix with any type of gasoline or gas/oil mixture.
A: you can use it now.
A: i would just add it right now.
A: Put Stabil into empty tank first. Add fuel to agitate it and offer complete protection. After a year use the treated fuel and start again with fresh fuel. Note: The directions on Stabil state once opened use it by a certain number of months.
A: Hello! We recommend to add STA-BIL to fresh fuel as soon as possible for best results. If you have any other questions please contact our Consumer Support Team at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com.
A: I have been using Stabil for many years and I would add it immediately or within 30 days before fuel gets stale. It's too late then.
A: According to the experts. Gas will start to go bad after 30 days. But if you add the fuel stabilizer it will be alright for up to a year.
A: I would put it in immediately. The gas tends to pick-up moisture mainly because of the ethanol content. Th. The stabilizer should keep it fresh for up to two years but no guarantee after that. The container should be sealed to prevent any air from getting inside.
A: For storage is recomended, l use it for generator that only use during hurricane season and is excellent product
A: Put Stabil in first, then add fuel to agitate the Stabil and allow it to mix well with gasoline. I wouldn’t keep it in storage for more than a year. Use the fuel after a year and then repeat the process with fresh fuel. Stabil recommends higher dosages for longer storage although I like to play it safe. Cleaning a gummed up fuel system is a lot more expensive. Note that the directions state that once opened use the Stabil within a number of months.
A: ASAP. Prevents water build up in fuel. Won't have any negative effects on engine.
A: Hi! STA-BIL can be used on regular and 2 cycle fuel equipment. It can be used on all blends including 40:1 and 50:1. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact Consumer Support at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com. Thanks for the question!
A: Use it for gas. Oil has its own chemicals which might be incompatible with Stabil.
A: I believe this is to be used only for gasoline in fuel tanks of both 2 and 4 cycle engjnes, or mix with gasoline first before you have to mix with oil.
A: GAS!
A: Gas is fuel. Oil is not. Maybe you shouldn't operate equipment.
A: Yes, you can. Been using this product for 15 years.
A: You can use as much of this product as you like, as long as mixed somewhat correctly each time. U can use a very generous amount, or a little xtra each time wont hurt but of course don't dump the whole bottle in the tsnk with just a thimble of gas.
A: Yes
A: I don't see why not. It is flammable.
A: Yes, I do it.
