    A:  I love mine! It does have a little hum to it when the heat is turned on though, i'd say no more than maybe a ceiling fan. I don't find it annoying at all. It may also depend on what you put on top or inside of the cabinets.

      A:  This unit is not noisy at all. I can only hear the low sound of the fan blowing. But I would not classify this as noisy.

        A:  Only a soft hum from the fan. Virtually no sound when the heat is not on.

          A:  not noisy at all. Yes, there is a fan that serves to blow thermostatically heat into the room but it is whisper quiet.

            A:  The Hudson looks like the Carter I bought last year. Carter is cheaper but only offers one color. Maybe Carter is last year stock.

              Q:With corner leaf out can a 1999 tv sit on it? I do not own flat screen mine is heavy over 50 lbs and tapers.

              A:  50 lbs. is way over the maximum weight recommended for this unit with the leaf out.

                A:  Mantel holds 85 lbs and is 15.75 inches Deep. The corner filler is small and to me is cosmetic. It would need additional support under it if much of the tv sits on corner leaf. This is only my opinion. I am attaching photo of the cabinet part before put in fire box.

                    A:  Quite small. Sketch a "house" outline. It is 7-3/4 inches tall at the peak. The "walls" are 1-5/8 inches high, and the "floor" is 12-1/4 inches wide. The "floor" is the edge nearest the flame.
