A:  For safety reasons we would prefer the TV be mounted above the fireplace.

A:  The assembly instructions are packaged with the item. If yours are missing you would have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Of you might be able to find them on line in case they have a download of the instructions available.

A:  A little confused interpreting your question since you use the worked "mounted" which normally applies to "wall mount." All our fireplaces are designed to accommodate flat screen televisions. However, a measure of good judgement is always required. It is always our recommendation to make sure the overall footprint of the television fits, rather than extended, beyond the overall top of the fireplaces. And, it the fireplace with television is in a highly trafficked room or a household with small children tethering the television to the wall is a safe and sound measure.

A:  Yes, it would look beautiful

A:  Yes since the heater has it's own blower motor. It will blow heat out into the room ahead of the TV. Although heat rises I would think there would be no problem with a TV mounted above this unit. We have items sitting directly on top of the unit for decoration as there is absolutely no heat directly above the unit.

A:  Yes, a television can be mounted over this model.

A:  Yes, the fireplace can be used without the heater if desired.

A:  Yes

A:  Yes the controls are separate on the remote control unit. Flame, Logs, and Heat can all be controlled separately.

A:  This is a difficult question to ask. Since it is electric there is no change of a natural flame extinguishing due to a breeze or wind. However, the size of the screened porch in combination with outside temperature will affect the heating properties of this fireplace. Sorry we can't give you a more exact answer but don't want to misrepresent the performance of this fireplace and disappoint you especially if you have a large porch, with 3 screened walls, the possibility for a chilly breeze and outside temperatures in the low 50's or high 40's. A:  Yes you could. But you would have to check with the manufacturer to see what effect if any that would have on the warranty. You also want to make sure that the unit in no way comes in contract with moisture, rain, etc.

A:  I'm not sure what the manufacturer recommends, but I don't see why not as long as it doesn't get wet

A:  Yes, it can be converted to use in a corner. It comes with a piece you can attach on the back.

A:  Yes it is! There is a triangle shaped panel that is hinged to the back of the fireplace. It is designed to swing up and allow the back of the fireplace to fit into a corner or, you can swing the panel down and use the fireplace on any straight wall in your home. Here's a tip. You can move this fireplace from room to room. Use it where family or friends gather for the upcoming holidays and then move it into a bedroom for the chilly winter months. ENJOY!

A:  Yes, it has an optional back piece you can add to convert it to a corner piece.

A:  Yes it comes with an extra piece that can be fastened in to the unit to fit the corner. We did not try this option since ours was against a flat wall.

A:  The unit can be shipped to the store and you can pick up there. As to assembly you would have to check with your local HD store to see if they offer assembly service. My guess would be that they would assemble the unit. However that will make it more difficult to transport.
