A: Peel and stick Smart Tiles should not be installed where they may be submerged in water or used as a working surface. It is also inadvisable to put them where they will be in direct contact with steam or flames. So, it is not recommended to install Smart Tiles: in the shower, on the countertop, on the floor, on the ceiling.

A: Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles.
Yes, once Smart Tiles have completely adhered to the surface - generally after 48 hours - they are resistant to the heat of a stove. However, it is recommended to prevent direct exposure to an open flame and we recommend to install our Smart Panel.
Have a nice day!

A: Hello, thanks for your question and interest in peel and stick Smart Tiles. It’s not recommended to install on a textured wall. The Smart Tiles will stick on a smooth and clean surface. The tiles are so thin, the bullnose would show through. Please do not hesitate if you have any other questions.

Answer This Question
A: Hello, thanks for your question and interest in Smart Tiles. The peel and stick Smart Tiles are easy to remove with little to no damage to the wall depending on the surface the tiles were installed on. To make it easy, use a blow dryer to warm up each peel and stick tile long enough to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Then use a household cleaning product to wash the wall and remove the excess glue left by the peel and stick tiles. If the Smart Tiles were installed on existing tiles, I don’t see any problem. If it was installed on a painted wall, maybe you will have to repaint some spots. Please don’t hesitate to contact Smart Tiles with any question: 1-877-784-2733.

A: Hello, thanks for your question and interest in Smart Tiles. Nothing will show through the Smart Tiles, they are opaque! But it is recommended to wait the curing period of 3 weeks for paint before you install the peel and stick tiles. And also, be sure to clean the surface with a good degreaser such as TSP before installation. Please do not hesitate if you have more questions.
