A:  Thank you for your question. The 1830 router combo set does not come with an edge guide, however an edge guide is available as a separate accessory, the part number is 91800.

A:  No and the guide is no longer available from Skil. Furthermore, they use an odd sized diameter for the posts that connect the guide to the router (they are very small/narrow). I intended to use this router as my hand held model as it can't be adjusted from above while in a table. Between the lack of an edge guide and the poor plunge action, this router just collects dust.
