        Q:Where can I get the edge guide 91800 for this router? Is it disscontinued or what? Is there a standard one that can be used? Where can I get one?

        A:  The part number for the edge guide for the 1830 router is 91800. This is in stock and has not been discontinued. Retailers that sell our products should be able to order it for you if they do not have the edge guide in stock.           Q:I HAVE BUILT MY OWN ROUTING TABLE. FOR THIS PARTICULAR ROUTER COMBINATION,NOT REALIZING.THE WAY THIS PACKAGE SET CAME,THAT IT SEEMS THE MOUNTING PLATES,SEEM TO NOT BE REMOVABLE.IS THERE A SPECIAL TOOL.THAT IS REQUIRED TO TAKE OUT THE MOUNTING SCREWS??IF SO DOES HOME DEPOT CARRY THIS TOOL??I HOPE SO .OTHER WISE I WILL BE RETURNINING THIS TOOL,I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT..THANKS AGAIN ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED..

          A:  We do sell the router table mounting plate separately, the part number is 1619x03852. If you cannot order it from Home Depot you can also order direct from our Bosch Customer Service Representatives at 1-877-267-2499. To attach the fixed base to the mounting plate you would just need to remove the 3 screws to remove the clear subbase from the router.

            A:  Thank you for your question. Yes, the Skil 1830 fixed base can be mounted to a router table. We do offer the RAS900 with quick mounting plate that will accept our 1830 router.
