Questions and Answers for Simple Green 1 Gal. Concentrated All-Purpose Cleaner

A:  Our Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner is a versatile cleaner and degreaser. However, if used on glass, it can leave streaks and requires extra rinsing with water. If you do use the All-Purpose Cleaner Lemon Scent on glass, use a light dilution of at least 1:30 to 1:60 dilution. A 1:30 dilution would be 1 oz of our cleaner to 30 oz of water. A 1:60 dilution is 0.5 oz of our cleaner to 30 oz of water. Please rinse thoroughly after cleaning to remove any streaks.

A:  It's best to not use our cleaner since baby toys can have bite marks and indentations. Any surface that is cleaned with our cleaner should not be porous so there is no residue after rinsing.

A:  Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can be used to help clean relatively recent oil stains on asphalt driveways. You may need to use this at either full strength or mixed 50-50 with water. Any older oil stains may require stronger, more acidic products but those must be handled with care.

A:  The runoff from our cleaner can create soapy runoff that would need to be cleaned off the surface of the pool. It may also impact the pH level of the pool water so you will want to check the pH level of the pool water before and after cleaning.

A:  Our Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can be used in pressure washers. You will want to check your pressure washer's manual to see what dilution it makes. We typically recommend dilutions between 1:10 to 1:20.

A:  Is possible to use to cleaning hardwood flooring, but depends of the finish of the floor. I will not use it if the top layer is wood instead of synthetic. There are specific products for that.

A:  Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can be used on hardwood floors so long as they are sealed or have a coat. For cleaning floors, we recommend using a 1:30 dilution, which is equivalent to 4 oz (half a cup) of Simple Green to a gallon of water. This mixture can be sprayed onto the floor to clean it, then the floor should be rinsed with water. A damp mop with water can be used to rinse floors. You will want to be sure to not overly saturate hardwood floors as too much water can cause swelling/absorption.

A:  Our Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can be used to clean porcelain tile. if it is floor tiles, you will want to use a light dilution of 1:30, which is 4 oz of Simple Green to a gallon of water. This mixture can be applied to the floor and rinsed thoroughly with water. The floor grout will likely be sealed so there shouldn't be an issue with discoloration, but if there is any unsealed grout, the green color in our cleaner could potentially be caught in the grout, causing discoloration if the grout is light colored. If you are cleaning wall tiles, you can use a general-purpose dilution of 1:10, which is 12 oz of Simple Green to a gallon of water. The wall tile can be sprayed or have the mixture applied to a towel and use that to clean the wall tile. Then, the tile should be rinsed with water.
