A: You could definitely use it on the side of the door. for me, this hangs off the unframed sides and bottom of my shower door. It fits on the glass and the rubber flap hangs off a bit...maybe 3/8"- 1/2 ". Not sure on a semi-framed, not sure what that looks like, but if you can snap this on the glass, it should help some, at the least...a lot at the best! Good luck!

A: I have a frameless sliding shower door and this item did not work for the edge seal on the edges of the stationary or sliding glass. I returned it and ordered the correct part from the manufacturer of the shower door.

Q:Will this work on an angled glass cut?

Answer This Question
A: My guess is that it would depend on the angle and how much glass there is to grab. I would think that the worst case would be that you would have to use some clear silicone adhesive to hold it if the angle was too severe

Answer This Question
A: I purchased this to prevent water from going out between stationary glass and the door. I can open the door both ways without any issues. However, I want this seal to last a long time, so i have been trying to only open the door outwards. Seems to be working great.

A: The sweep is flexible-soft, but a tight gap between the door and fixed frame could prevent a full 180
by|Jul 14, 2019
A: Yes, on frameless shower enclosures. I installed it on the fixed glass adjacent to the door opening and the door closes cleanly into it. Some trimming is necessary.

A: Not quite sure how to answer this. It’s basically a seal to keep H2O in the shower, and not outside. It’s not a “stop” per se. But, depending on the gap, it could help, but not prevent.

A: They're rigid. I bought the longest version, because I can cut three of the size I need from it, and it winds up costing me a good bit less..
