Q:One side of this will be next to my garage which is partially concrete and partially asphalt. What would I use for anchors in the situation?

Answer This Question
A: Hi John,
In this situation you will need to use two different style anchors for each base type. You can purchase concrete lags for the feet sitting on the concrete and for those on the asphalt, you will have to drill holes and use earth anchors.

A: You would need to grill into the concrete or find another place to put it.

Q:what weight material does it have and can you get it in a heaver material?

Answer This Question
A: I believe that there is only one option for weight which appeared to be fine for a New England climate.
Ours did not last the winter. The fabric was fine but our location and lack of extra additional anchors allowed the wind to uproot it. The fabric didn't tear but the metal braces scratched the heck out of my car.

A: Buy the thicker material and you are good to go. It is more expensive, but these sheds are still the best design and best deal on the market.
I bought the thinner material for my garage shed, and after two years it is torn in many places so I have to replace it, versus 9 years on my big shed with the thick material (and I just flexed and sealed (wink wink) the top that was starting to get threadbare). The thin material is truly only for light duty environments, including wind.
