A:  Get the medium/heavy duty replacement cover. It costs more, however the one-year warranty on the standard cover barely exceeds its life expectancy. Mine lasted 2 years before being so thread bare it had to be replaced.

A:  I'm not sure of exact dimensions of the box. I would say 4' to 5' long, by 2' wide, by 8" high. It fit in the trunk of my Civic with the back seats down.
