Q:Can I plug this into copper and PEX like this: Copper --> PRV --> PEX ? This looks a little bit shorter than https://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBite-3-4-in-Push-to-Connect-Bronze-EB-45-Slip-Pressure-Regulator-Valve-24429-0045/206356315 so it should fit my space better.
I currently have a Watts PRV right after my water meter but it is not working, the space is tight and could be difficult to remove so I am thinking to keep it as is but install this after that.

Q:I installed this and the pressure is down to 60 which is fine. However, when I flush the toilet the system seems to shut the water off completely. The pressure gauge goes to 0 and stays there. If i turn the water main off and back on again the pressure goes back to 60 again...until I flush the toilet. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

A: It's set at the factory for 55 psi which is standard. However the bolt on the top allows you to increase or decrease the amount of pressure it has. It's explained in the instructions

A: Factory set to regulate flow to a safe 45 psi, adjustable from 10 to 70 psi. If you have further questions, please contact Customer Service M-F, 8am-5pm at (877)700-4242.

A: I believe the preset pressure was 50 psig. Keep in mind, however, that this valve does not regulate down to zero flow; at zero flow inside line pressure equals outside pressure.

A: From my limited experience, mine was preset between 40-50psi, but your's may vary depending on whether your adjustment screw was tightened or not? I was able to verify the inline pressure using a pressure gauge attached to my faucet.
