A:  Hi, The SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Bronze EB-45 Direct Pressure Regulator Valve will work with PEX-A pipe as long as the PEX-A pipe has been tested to the (ASTM F876) standard. A:  Hi Buster, Thank you for contacting SharkBite. The SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Bronze EB-45 Direct Pressure Regulator Valve will not connect to PVC pipe. We do make a PVC transition coupling that will connect to PVC pipe. Once the coupling is installed you can then connect the SharkBite 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Bronze EB-45 Direct Pressure Regulator Valve. I've attached a link to the PVC transition coupling. If you have any more questions you can call tech support at 877-700-4242.
