A: This is a blank screen door. Hardware is sold separately. Typically a 3 hinge, face mounted, spring loaded hardware kit is used that has a loop latch to keep door closed. Other locking hardware can be used as long as it is made for a 1" thick door.

A: Although not intended to be removed they snap in with tabs and grooves in the frame and are installed prior to the door being screened. You would need to gently pry the scrolls out making sure you do not mar the finnish or damage the screening.
