      A:  The height on the bottom rail is 4". Trimming Your Wood Screen Door: A circular saw will do the job. Simply determine the desired amount to trim. (Make sure not to trim more than 3/8" from any side and no more than 1/2" from the bottom.) Sincerely, Screen Tight JV

            A:  No it cannot be trimmed more than 3/8" of an inch off each side and 1/2" of an inch off of the top and bottom.
