A:  While regular lawn fertilizer like Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Fertilizer will not inhibit seed germination, and therefore can technically be applied anytime before or after seeding/sodding the lawn, it also does not help it.

A:  We always water well for a day or two after application. We have an area we leave untouched for the dog to go. After about two days, then we allow the dog to go wherever. This is a procedure when we apply anything to the lawn.
