While not necessary, as an additional precaution water application area and allow it to dry before reentering. If grazers are present, you should water it in and allow to dry before grazing. Be aware that iron once damp may stain hard surfaces such as sidewalks and driveways. Please sweep any stray granules into the lawn prior to watering.

It is recommended that soil temperatures should be consistently 55 degrees F or above, meaning air temperatures of 60 F or higher.
