      Q:Does this Niche fit inside a standard 16" on in center stud cavity or will I need to add a supporting stud inside? I realize I will need cross supports as well. Thanks

        Q:Can you cut the shelf thickness down to 3/4”

        A:  Yes you could cut the thickness to 3/4”. The shelf is totally adjustable up and down. The shelf does not need to be the full thickness it is when you purchase it.
