      A:  No, this deadbolt does not include an exterior plate.

              A:  This unfortunately will be a lock that requires you turn a thumb turn on the inside to lock. If you want a lock that will be keyed on both sides, you'd want a B62. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us at 8888059837 and we'll be more than happy to help.

                Q:I have Schlage double cylinder deadbolts and I want to replace the interior cylinders with a thumb turn while keeping the keyed exterior cylinder on the door. Will this plate/bolt do the trick?

                    Q:I need a deadbolt for a rent house that locks from inside with no key used on exterior. Is the exterior side of this deadbolt solid nickel then?

                    A:  there is no exterior plate on this lock....only the inside of the door would need to be cut. If you are needing an option with a plate..the lock description would be B81 and the outside plate would be brass plated with satin nickel finish.
