A:  No, the manufacturer has not corrected it I just purchased this product and after 10 days it quit working. The technician that came out to service it said that these type of refridgerators with the ice maker in the fridge area are notorius for this issue.

A:  the icemaker is a concern, on many, many makes. ours clogged, and had to have it replaced. we had the product warranty and it was covered, and quickly restored. the issue, I believe is the OVER USE of the CRUSHED ICE..as it collects and refreezes and clogs the appliance. we now use VERY LITTLE crushed ice.

A:  Manufacturer keeps ignoring the issues with the ice maker on this model. DO NOT BUY IT. I have to defrost the ice maker with a hairdryer at least once a month. Even their repair men say this thing is garbage.
