Q:What are the differences between Surface-Mounted and Recessed-Mounted? Thank you for help.

A:  Surface Mount has an enclosure and hangs on the outside of the wall. Recessed Mount is flush mounted inside the wall.

          A:  4B+ vertical mailboxes are only approved by USPS for replacement of existing units.
