A:  Hello, Our Window Screen are intended to be used for windows and Doors. We do not recommend for them to be used with any plant, animal or food because it is a PVC coated material. Same rules apply to our Fiberglass screen. In regards to your other questions for Aluminum Screen and the Fiberglass Small Insect Screen: 1. Aluminum Screen - The mesh sizes is 18x16 with a diameter of .011. Do not block sunlight or rain. The Airflow and sunlight coming through is good. Aluminum screen can be cut using scissors or a sharp utility knife. 2. Fiberglass Small Insect Screen - The mesh sizes is 20x20 with a diameter of .013. It helps with the smaller insect like no-seeum, gnats, sand files and other tiny insects. It can be cut using scissors or a sharp utility knife.
