A:  Hello David - Thank you for your question. Rug Pads also generally emit an odor. Airing out the pad in a well ventilated area should fix the problem. It would be recommended to air out the pad for a day or so. You may add additional days if needed.

A:  We had no smell from the pad or off-gassing but we are not highly sensitive to such issues.

A:  Hi Cindy. The only type of flooring we would advise against using our pads with are vinyl flooring due to the heat that can be trapped underneath the rug that can cause damage.
