A: no, used plumbers putty rolled into about 1/4" ribbon around top lip to seal to underside of counter with the 4 clips from sink I was replacing.

Q:I am replacing an under-mounted sink that cracked and broke off of our quartz or marble vanity top.
The previous sink was glued to the vanity top with out clips.
How can you install a replacement sink?

A: Can install with or without clips. Just make sure you use the right glue and dont fill the sink, unless using clips.
