          A:  Hi Candy, this is Sarah with Sterling Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. The 17" x 13" dimension is measured on the inside of the basin (once installed). The outside dimensions measure 19-1/16" x 15-3/8". Thank you for choosing Sterling.

                    A:  The sink has an overflow that is molded into the sink (opening not visible in photo) and feeds down to drain connection. Connecting the drain pipe automatically connects the overflow. The drain is offset toward the back of the sink, not in the center, front to back.

                      Q:what is the total inside (interior) depth from bottom of sink to the top of the sink (not to the drian hole)? I see a few other questions answered but they are to the drain hole and not to the top of the entire sink. I see a answer of 7 inches also but wanted to make sure this is not the exterior of the sink but the interior.

                      A:  Hi, this is Laura with Sterling Plumbing. I am happy to assist you with your question. The interior depth to the top of the drain is not called out on the spec sheet. To the bottom of the drain is 7-7/8" which leaves approximately 6" to the top of the drain. Thank you for choosing Sterling.

                        Q:How deep is the sink to the top of the drain of the hole. That's usually the depth that we users care about since that's the "usable" portion.
