A: Yes, sort of; need to have the chamfer in the surface you mount it to. A router bit works good for that.

A: This sink will fit any 1.5 inch no overflow bath drain. It doesn't need to be a Sinkology drain, but our drains are selected to match the finish on our sinks.

Q:What mounting ring can I use? Will the Kraus mounting ring sold by home depot fit?
by|Mar 2, 2016

Answer This Question
A: We recommend using the mounting ring sent with the sink, it's a large metal washer taped to the box flap. This sink is designed to fit into a beveled hole in the countertop surface and secured by the mounting washer underneath the surface.

Answer This Question
A: We recommend setting the sink into a 2 3/4inch hole with 1/8th inch bevels around the edge, we didn't specifically design this sink to fit with any mounting ring so we can't say how it would work.

Q:My granite countertop has a 2" drain hole - will this sink work with it? (A reviewer said that 2 3/4" is required... that is huge!)
Also, if it does require a 2 3/4' hole, would using a mounting ring eliminate that need? Allowing my existing 2'' hole to work?
Thanks

Answer This Question
A: This is a great question. The vessel style sinks we offer are designed and constructed to be installed as a vessel. Unfortunately, the sink referenced will not be able to be dropped in. However, the sink can be partially dropped in to your specification.
