Q:I am replacing a sink that has a 1.75 drain. Is that an issue since this sink is 1.5?

A: This sink fits the standard bathroom sink drain size, the actual measurement of the drain required is closer to 1-5/8" inch but that is the standard size drain.

A: If you are asking, will the existing hole be seen? I don't think so. This sink covers a good portion of the counter top. So should cover that hole. The only thing that is wrong with this sink is it doesn't have a air hole to help the water drain. So we installed a dishwasher Y drain in the drain line. Extended it with a small piece of hose so there was no chance of a leak. and have had no problems since. Love the sink.

A: I clean with water and a soft soap, nothing special. It looks great.

A: No, just wash the sink with warm water, a soft cloth, and silver polish every now and again. Don't use abrasives on the sink or you could scratch the nickel finish.

Answer This Question
A: This is designed to be a vessel sink so you would make a hole in your vanity surface that is 2-3/4" inches in diameter, slide the drain through the sink and hole, put the mounting washer between the underside of the counter top and the lock nut, then tighten the lock nut to secure the sink to the vanity top. Seal with a neutral cure silicone caulk and you have a vessel mount sink.
You will need a tall faucet, we have found the Pfister Ashfield faucet in brushed nickel works well with this sink.

A: It can be, but we recommend installing the sink in a 2-3/4 inch hole in the counter top. The sink is designed to fit securely and firmly into a 2-3/4 inch hole, not a mounting ring.

Q:Vessel installation guide shows 2-3/4" opening; can 'normal' 1-1/2" hole work, set atop 3/4" spacer ring ?

Answer This Question
A: This sink is designed to sit in a 2-3/4'' hole and not on a spacer ring, the slightly larger hole provides more stability than the space ring.
